What is Included in The Door Supervisor Course
The course runs over four days and is divided into four units:
1. Working in the Private Security Industry
2. Working as a Door Supervisor
3. Conflict Management
4. Physical Intervention.
You will be assessed through three multiple-choice exams and a practical assessment of the physical intervention skills you will be taught on the course.

How long will it take me to complete this course?
This certification must be achieved in a minimum of 7 days with distance learning and 8 days in the classroom.
What criteria are used to evaluate the qualification?
It is broken down into four modules and examined using four multiple-choice exams and many practical evaluations. The following are the units:
Unit 1: Working Principles in the Private Security Industry
A 110-minute multiple-choice exam with 72 questions was used to assess the candidate. To pass this unit, students must have a score of at least 70%.
Externally set, internally assessed practical evaluation based on the completion of an evidentiary statement.
Unit 2: Working as a Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industry: Principles
A 75-minute multiple-choice exam with 50 questions was used to assess the candidate. To pass this unit, students must have a score of at least 70%.
Externally set, internally assessed practical assessment including search and usage of communication devices.
Unit 3: Conflict Resolution Techniques in the Private Security Industry
A 30-minute multiple-choice exam with 20 questions was used to assess the student. To pass this unit, students must have a score of at least 70%.
Practical scenario with observation sheet, externally set, internally assessed.
Unit 4: The Use of Physical Intervention Skills in the Private Security Industry
There are two sections to the evaluation. Part one is a practical test, and part two is a 45-minute multiple-choice exam with 30 questions. To pass this unit, students must acquire an 80 percent pass grade.
Practical assessment using observation sheet, externally set, internally assessed scenarios.

Individuals who complete this qualification will be eligible to move to the Private Security Industry’s Level 2 Award for CCTV Operators (Public Space Surveillance).
